If there is no style, chaos or emptiness prevail! Style gives a person an aura that depends on intimacy, on his inner life, but manifests itself in his speech, gestures, relations with things and with others. The style finds expression in silence, touch, looking at feeling of the world.
Taking up a style requires vigilance and a lot of time. You need to watch over yourself, take care of your body as well as your inner life, always exercise responsibility towards others. Style cannot be episodic, but must become habitus, a posture.
Style – I dare to say – is the epiphany of a man’s passion, it is the epiphany of his most secret cell, the heart. Style is the light emanating from the flame that fires your imagination. There are few people who have their own lifestyle, but when you meet them you feel an authority, a reliability, an attraction in them, you long to look for them, to meet them, to listen to them.
Some people have such eloquent style that it is enough to see them.
